“The tour was well organised. We visited the giant tortoises, were given some interesting history on prison island and had a meal at the stunning sandbank. The sandbank has plenty of seating space in the shade and food cooked there for all the tours. Sadly we couldn’t snorkel as the waves were too big that day. One side of the bank was very calm and perfect for floating in the gorgeous, stunningly turquoise water. Lovely day with a friendly group.”

He helped in every situation and even went above and beyond by offering tips and assistance beyond the tour, which I’ve never experienced on my many travels before. The organizer Jeff (Mulele) was also extremely helpful and assisted us for free with transportation after the tour. We had plenty of time on Prison Island to see the giant tortoises—an unforgettable experience since these animals are so rare to encounter in other countries. “Excellent tour! Blue lagoon is full of colourful fish, and the guide had some bread so we could feed the fish, they eat from your hand! We were snorkeling for some starfish, a lot of yellow and red and some black. The Rock...well...food was great, nicely presented, staff excellent...but very small portions and overpriced. I would never go for a lunch again at The Rock.”
